Our outer interment receptacles range in price from $695.00 to $9,995.00. Outer interment receptacles surround the casket in the grave and prevent the grave from sinking in. Without an outer interment receptacle, the structural integrity of the casket -- regardless of the casket's quality or construction materials -- will be compromised immediately after interment. Most cemeteries in our service area do not require that a concrete vault (or liner) surround the casket in the grave. For cemeteries that do require a vault or for families who wish to purchase one, we offer Wilbert™ brand burial vaults and locally manufactured steel vaults and pine wood outside boxes.

When arranging a traditional funeral service, most families select one or two items from the list below. The price range for these extra items of service and merchandise are included for your review.

Cash advance items are third party expenses incurred by us on your behalf. Services and merchandise provided as cash advance items will be billed at the same amount paid by the funeral home. Since it is illegal in New York for funeral homes to profit from cash advances, Bryn Mawr Chapels, Inc. does NOT INCLUDE them on our Statement of Funeral Services and Merchandise Selected. We will provide a document that details the cash advances that apply to the funeral that you are arranging and you can pay the vendors directly by cash or check (if the vendor accepts personal checks). The old adage "Life is what happens when you're making other plans" is absolutely true.
